CONVENTION TOURS
CANCELLED
|
|
The Golden Autumn Tour, taking you back into California’s gold country and Dawdling on the Delta, which took you along the Delta between Sacramento and San Francisco, and the Tow Car Adventure have had to be cancelled. Unfortunately not enough people signed up for these wonderful tours.
Those of you that did sign up for these tours will have your money refunded. Those who paid by credit card will receive a credit to their account. Those who paid by check may obtain a refund from Judy at the RVW booth.
In the meantime, we are attempting to pull together alternative trips in and around Lodi, so if you are planning on being here early, when you check in, be sure to ask about what will be available. Again, we’re very sorry we had to cancel the tours.

Wednesday, October 10 FIRST TIMERS GET-TOGETHER 11 a.m. – Burgundy Hall
Is this going to be your very first national RVW convention? Are you a bit nervous as to what to expect? Do you think your won’t know anyone?
Do not fear! You are invited, as a guest of the RVW Member Services Committee, to attend a First Timers Get-together. This fun, informal event will be held in Burgundy Hall at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. You will be introduced to key people involved with this year’s convention, including Convention Coordinator Char Norby, RVW Office Manager Judy Bozman and members of the RVW Board of Directors. You will also have an opportunity to meet several chapter leaders from all around the country.
Our intent is to give you, our first-year attendees, a preview of things that will be happening at the convention. We will answer questions you might have and help you get acquainted with other RVers. If you are not already involved with a particular chapter, we can help you learn how you can become involved with a chapter. If you are new to RVW and would like a buddy to share your convention experiences, we can also arrange that for you.
This will be an informal, fun gathering with a light lunch included. You will be given a First Timers ribbon to wear with your nametag. Hosted by: RVW Member Services Committee Co-chairs: Ardie Jarrett and Toni Shaw We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Convention2007. Pre-registration for this event is not required.

If you are an RVW member who plays golf, we want you to participate in the Golf Event at Convention. Plan to arrive on Sunday to attend the late afternoon meeting for final details. We will gather Monday morning to carpool to the golf course for a 10 a.m. tee time. Please bring your clubs and send your $65 golfing fee to the RVW office with your registration. We have chosen beautiful Lockeford Springs Golf Course in the heart of central California wine country for our golf outing. We'll have lunch on the 9th hole, and meet after the 18th hole for refreshments and awards. Have you driven a golf cart equipped with GPS? Here's your chance! If you have questions, email Marie Moore, Committee Chair, at mariemmoore@comcast.net. Our enthusiastic Golf Committee looks forward to having you join the fun and excitement in this pre-Convention activity. Marie Moore, Kathy Nellis Co-Chairs
