October 12-16
Plan now to attend this year’s RVW National Convention
and
20th Anniversary Celebration

October 12 – 16, 2011
Goshen, Indiana
Elkhart County Fairgrounds

Again this year, the opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday evening, October 11.  This will allow for a full schedule of seminars, exhibits, vendor sales and activities on Wednesday.  Host chapters, Great Lakers and Ohio River Valley have lots planned for our 20th anniversary and we expect to celebrate all week.  The closing ceremony will take place right after breakfast on Sunday.

Tours
Tours, offered Sunday through Tuesday will provide a incite into the Amish culture, manufacturing history, and especially the RV industry in the area.  Come early and take a leisurely cruise on the Elkhart River on Sunday. Our Ladies Golf Scramble will be held on Monday at the Black Squirrel Golf Course, named for the numerous black squirrels that frequent the area.

Maintenance Classes
Maintenance classes will be offered again this year, led by our own Pat Setzer of Recreation Services, LLC, Mobile RV Services.  Pat is a certified RV technician, and will also be providing RV service throughout the week.

Seminars and Exhibits
Seminars and exhibits will open on Wednesday morning with opportunities to learn about RV technologies, hobbies, activities and ideas to enhance your RV experience.  Exhibitors will offer a wide range of products and services.  Expect to see some traditional favorites as well as some new ones.  There will also be new RVs to check out.

Meals Included with Registration
Our traditional Saturday evening banquet and Sunday morning hitch-up breakfast are included in your registration.  The banquet includes a choice of prime rib, chicken parmesan, or vegetarian lasagna.  The hitch-up breakfast will offer a choice of “grab & go” items for those in a hurry to get away, and “sit-down” foods for those staying for the closing ceremony.  Throughout the week, on-your-own breakfast and lunch will be available at the concession in the main building.

First-Timers should plan to join us for a complimentary breakfast on Wednesday.

Everyone is invited to participate in Block Parties on Wednesday night, and the vendor reception on Thursday.  This will be held in the vendor area so that attendees can get acquainted with vendors and their products.

Shirts
Again this year, we’re offering the traditional polo shirts in both men’s and ladies sizes, with the logo on the left shoulder.  Less expensive long-sleeve and short-sleeve T-shirts are also available with the logo printed across the front. T-shirts are unisex sizing. All shirts are pale yellow.  See sizing information on the registration form.

Quilt Project
Thanks to all chapters who submitted their material for the 20th anniversary quilt.  The quilt is in the process of being constructed and will be revealed at the convention.  It will be included in the auction, scheduled for Thursday evening, after the vendor reception.
